Kanan Devan Hills Plantations Company Private Limited, a participatory venture with the employees having nearly 70% of the subscribed share capital and the largest tea plantations in the State, launched its Branded Tea Operations with its brand being named 'RIPPLE'. RIPPLE is a blend of South Indian RC Premium teas and North India Assam component. Smt. Murugaselvi, Worker Director, handed over the first packet to Mr. A. Mitraselvan, Staff Director, at a function held at the Registered Office of the company in Munnar.
RIPPLE is a premium dust blend and the immediate target would be Kerala market with teas fanning across the other states of South India shortly.With KDHP firmly entrenched in auction and export markets, the time could not be better to expand its horizon to the Branded Tea Operations especially when there has been a surge in the consumption of tea in the domestic front.
At the moment RIPPLE is available in 500 grams, 250 grams and 100 grams packets, with 50 grams and 1 kg. packet in the anvil.
