Chundavurrai Estate is situated at about 6000 feet from sea level between the border of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. It comprises of the erstwhile four estates i.e., Chundavurrai, Kundaly, Chittavurrai and Yellapatty, commonly known as Top Station estates. The pioneer planters came to this district via Bodinayakanur and reached via Top station to start plantations in this area. They used a Ropeway connecting Munnar and this estate. The Ropeway Station at this end is called Top station. Another unique feature of this estate is that three of its tea fields are in Tamilnadu. Kundaly divisions (256 hectares) is categorised as Organic tea area duly, certified by IMO, Switzerland .
Kundaly Club is situated on this estate. Wild life found here is plenty, particularly Elephants and Bisons. One of the first hydroelectric Dams in Kerala namely Sethu Parvathi Puram is in this area.
